White Face Capuchin Monkey

White Face Capuchin Monkey males are 33-46 cm with 40-50 cm tail. Females are 32-40 cm with a 42-45 cm tale. They have a brown body with a white face and has dark brown eyes. They have big eyes so they can see if predators are coming or not. They have finger toes to hold on to branches and logs easily and their fruit and food so they don’t drop it. It is named after capuchin monks .

Capuchin monkeys live in the rainforests of Central and South America. Their habitat is forest mangroves up in the canopy.

They eat fruit, insects, small birds, lizards, and frogs. They get the fruit from the trees. They hunt for the birds, lizards, and frogs. When they are about to have babies it takes 150 days. The mother and other family members hold the babies.

It hides in the trees to stay away from their enemies and stays high because then cats can't get them.
