My animal is the chimpanzees. They can be 3 to 5 feet tall. Their faces are pinkish to black. Chimpanzees lack a tail. They have ears sticking out of their heads so they can hear every single little sound. Chimpanzees also have opposable thumbs.
Chimpanzees live in equatorial Africa .They are also found in open woodlands, bamboo forests, swamp forests, even some open savannas. But they prefer tropical rain forests.
Chimpanzees eat fruit, leaves, bark, seeds, birds, eggs, insects, antelopes, honey, bush pigs, colobus, bamboos, and even other monkeys.
Chimpanzees usually only have one chimp. Twins rarely happen. She feeds it's baby milk. Baby chimps are born alive.
Chimpanzees sometimes use rocks and sticks against other animals. That’s how humans used to handle enemies. Some of the chimpanzee’s enemies are humans and leopards. My animal is endangered. Chimpanzees are endangered because they kind of live in trees, humans cut down trees. Also because the bush meat trade is increasing. Last is that they are killing the mothers, and selling the babies. Chimpanzees are more like humans than monkeys! They have opposable thumbs just like us! Chimpanzees are our closest relatives. They can live in many different places.
