Most tigers have black and orange stripes or sometimes brown and white.
The size of a tiger is about 3 desks. Their weight is 300 to 320 pounds.
A tiger lives in all kinds of places. It lives in zoos, China, jungles, and rainforests. A tiger lives in caves and sometimes even abandoned huts or houses.
Tigers are meat eaters. That means they hunt for their food. The kinds of foods that they eat are deer, monkeys, sloths, and other animals.
Tigers are mammals. That means they give birth. Tigers hold their babies by the scruff of their neck. A mother tiger loves her cub so much that she will die for her cub.
A tiger’s enemies are humans. Humans have guns that shoot tigers and that is why tigers are in danger of becoming extinct. Tigers protect them by using teeth and claws.
