Inuits used many different tools and weapons. They used some for hunting, fishing, sewing, building and cooking. They made these out of driftwood, bone, antler and pieces of hide. The Inuits made bows and arrows, harpoons, spears, bird darts, traps and snares. Their most prized possession and important weapon was the harpoon. It's length, weight and design depended on where and how it was used. Also the size of the animal that was being hunted. They also had other weapons like the saw tooted antler used for cutting rectangels of snow to build snow house (igloo) to live in. They also used an ivory snow knife to trim snow with. They also made needles out of ivory or hard wing or leg of a bird and a ulu (a cresent shapped bone knife used for scraping hide). For cooking they used three things called soapstone lamp stand, large soapstone lamp and soapstone pot which is made out of stones and branchs.
