Red fox live in the southern part of the Arctic. It's fur is red all year long. In the cold winter the foxes fur becomes thick. Even the bottom of the foxes paws are covered in fur. Fox have a good sense of smell. Foxes usually hunt small animals like birds, rabbits and lemmings. Its coat blends into the surroundings so the fox can get its food. Foxes don't hunt in groups. They only mate in the spring time.
